From Where I Sit

// March 31st, 2009 // View Comments // Uncategorized

Something I’ve never understood about blogs is why the writer HAS to put something creative for each individual blog title… It has never made sense to me, at any rate I’m doing a little bit of conforming in an effort to seem poetic or crazy, which ever makes more sense in this instance.

However considering the fact that I gave you a funny little title I’m going to include a picture of what I see from where I sit. It’s not a very cool picture but it is of the banner for my company, so I think that gives it a little boost.

Anyways, the whole point in me posting this blog was to let you know I’ve added information to the ‘about me’ and ‘my projects’ page. I put in the bio from the book I’m working on, “Learn to Throw: A Course in Yo-Yoing” with some slight modifications. If you happen to notice any errors in it please let me know via comment :) . I also put up what projects I can remember I’m working on in the ‘my projects’ page. Right now it’s just a few lists of those projects. Eventually I’ll have time to elaborate on each individual bullet. But for now, just pretty lists. haha!

Anyways, I hope you have a great day!

 Do they make IV drips for mugs?

Well the goal was to get up at 8, shower, eat, and head down to Double-Take Industries to get some work done… Apparently that’s not what’s going to happen today! Haha… I got up at 11am and got ready and now I’m just waiting on my coffee. Today I’m going to get more work done on a logo I’ve been designing for Divine Design Gifts that has been taking me forever.

Usually I could hammer something like this out in a day, but the design is supposed to be simple. Except that it has so many complex elements. So I’m having trouble pulling it all together in a decent amount of time. Oh well, I’m trying to have it down by Wednesday.

Later folks!

My shmexy new phone...

My shmexy new phone...

Well I finally have my own website again! After all these years of making websites for my projects and promoting those like an annoying little spammer I decided I’d rather promote myself and went ahead and bought this domain name. I’m working on modifying this layout for easy maintainence and I’m trying to see if I can use my new LG Dare to update the blog, which I think would be awesome haha!

At any rate, if you know this website exists at this point thanks for stopping by and checking it out, but it’s going to be relatively empty for a month or so while I modify the template and get the hang of this new software.

Later!

This is one of my favorite of my own clip videos. It took me a long time to edit it to what you see below. This is a video of myself practicing some of my favorite tricks in the workshop at Double-Take Industries. My buddy Matt Lewis played the part of the camera man and I edited everything down to what it is here.
