Gaining Ground

// April 6th, 2009 // Uncategorized

I spent half of this last day hanging out with a friend of mine I rarely see anymore; before and after that, I was working on yoyoshirts.com. I’ve been slowly pulling it together one corner at a time. I feel I’ve finished getting together a basic design I can work with for the website. I’ve implemented Google’s Analytics program that will be used to mark progress and develop goals for the website. I plan to start using Uservoices’s feedback system to allow my userbase-to-be to tell me what they’d like to see.

Future goals for the website include adding in a web forum, a competition system for user submitted shirts, and using the website as a store that other companies can use to distribute their goods. We’ll see where it goes from there.

At this point I’m finishing up a few designs which will be produced under YoYoShirts.Com to help develop ‘brand recognition’ for the website, and after that if shirts containing the yoyoshirts logo are produced it will be on a seasonal/holiday ‘special edition’ basis. If not that it will be the competition user submitted shirts or for general company promotion. Any other yo-yo related clothing designs I come up with will be done under the umbrella of Double-Take Industries and the YoYoShirts.Com website will from that point on focus on only providing acquired products and the competition designed products.

Thanks for listening to me ramble, If you have any input please comment it to me as it would be greatly appreciated! Have a pleasant day!

Mike
