I’ll See You on the Tour

// April 15th, 2009 // Uncategorized

I am so incredibly excited! I made it into the Go-Giver tour along with four other entrepreneurs! I will be leaving on Tuesday for Chicago, Illinois to meet up with Ivan Avalos, Emanuel Avalos, Justin Burns, David Hageman, Gilbert Melott, Gabe Strom, Brian Tomkins and Bradley Will. If you come out to one of the various “TweetUps” you can come and meet us, if you want to meet me, look for one of the younger guys with the yo-yo! Haha! At any rate, I recorded a video explaining my plans once the tour starts and wanted to show it to you!

Now as far as sponsors go to date, I’m not sure if they want me telling how much they gave, so I’ll simply tell you who has donated and what I plan to do with this information. Dana Doering from Dean Doering and Associates (one of their many aliases), Dana helped me get together enough funds up front to pay for my plane tickets before the week deadline was crossed, without her this travel expense would have been incredibly high; Barbara Huguenin from Coach America, she is a shining star of solid proof that social media works and that there are people out there who care about the youth in our community; Gerry Sarich, You are just amazing! I can’t wait to get to know you more and possibly send some business your Daughter’s way once my book is ready to be published! There are some others and could even be more, I’ll know by tomorrow.

The whole point in me telling you the sponsors and that I have a plan for them is this: I own Double-Take Industries, a clothing company which makes custom shirts, so it’s only a good fit for me to take all my sponsors, put their logos together, and print the onto five shirts to wear throughout the tour! And that’s what I’m going to do! I’m going to give back in one of the best ways I know how to. This tour is built around social media, and will get quite a bit of exposure, so I want to give back to those who gave to me by promoting them to the world!

All in all, I wouldn’t be able to go on this tour if it wasn’t for the hard work and dedication of Julie Larson, my coach and mentor. She’s one of my biggest fans and promoters and if she weren’t here I wouldn’t have thought to enter the tour. So thanks Julie!
